Allie Marie

Award-winning author Allie Marie grew up in Virginia, where her favorite childhood pastime was reading Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden mysteries. She never expected to grow up to be a real-life police officer herself. Eventually working her way up through the ranks, Allie retired – four times – as her experiences kept leading her to other adventures in law enforcement in the US as well as overseas.

After her final retirement, Allie embarked on a quest to fulfill a long-time dream to write mysteries and crime thrillers. She was derailed from those plans when she began researching her family tree and found links to the Revolutionary War. The idea for her paranormal “True Colors Series” was born, and her books have since garnered multiple awards.

Her standalone historical mystery Return to Afton Square, is also a sequel to the “True Colors Series” and a prequel to her upcoming spin-off trilogy, “True Spirits.” Her first short story, It’s a Wonderful Life After All, appears in the “Tis the Season Sweet Romance Novelettes.” Her novelette Tournament of Reckoning was her first foray into the world of fantasy.

Those other stories in her head are still patiently waiting their turn.

Besides family, her passions are travel anywhere, and camping with her husband Jack.
